Erowa specialises in the development and production of manufacturing technologies for tool and mould making as well as production and precision mechanics. Erowa is a world leader in the fields of clamping technology and automation; its solutions contribute significantly to the successful production of high-precision workpieces. Founded in 1970, the company employs around 530 people worldwide.

Initial situation: Intralogistics for new production hall
Erowa had decided to build a new production hall for larger workpiece loading systems at its headquarters in Büron, Lucerne. This also required an automated high-bay warehouse for large and small components.
Solution: Pallet and container storage with ‘Performance’ storage and retrieval machine
We developed a two-part, fully automated warehouse complex consisting of a pallet warehouse and a high-bay container warehouse for small parts. The two warehouses are each equipped with a ‘Performance’ storage and retrieval machine - the latest generation of our efficient, safe SRMs.
