The latest generation of stacker cranes for Meier Tobler
Our latest generation of stacker cranes are currently being installed in the new building of the building services specialist Meier Tobler.
The 30-metre-high stacker cranes are delivered in 3 parts of 10 metres each and assembled directly on site. After assembly, the mast is erected in precise steps with two crane lifts and joined to the trolley in the aisle.
The latest stacker cranes from Gilgen Logistics are significantly lighter and smaller, thus requiring less space, which can be used for more storage capacity. The units are now positively driven at the top and bottom. Among other things, this gear drive, which is unique in the industry, offers a major performance advantage. Further technical details will follow shortly.
In the future modern service centre of Meier Tobler in Oberbuchsiten, a total of 5 stacker cranes will manage the goods fully automatically in the high-bay warehouse with around 32,000 pallet spaces. Thank you very much for your trust!
