With a potential capacity utilization of up to 112 international and national flights per hour, a surface of 563‘000 square meters and on up to 45 million passengers annually capacity, the new Suvarnabhumi Airport became the turntable of Southeast Asia starting in September 2006.
Requirements
The building consists of two main areas for office, manufacturing and production, as well as the Central Equipment Store ASRS for trays.
The catering service serving the international flights operating at the new airport. The already existing buildings serves as home base, in order to support the production at the Suvarnabhumi airport.
During the first phase the new catering is able to produce 65’000 up to 70’000 meals daily. Capacities of maximal 85’000 meals per day are expected in the next 10 years.
